This is a difficult question to answer, all sins can be seen as equal in the sense that they all separate us from God no matter what type of sin it is.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
However, there are multiple verses that seem to indicate that there are different levels of punishment depending on different levels of sin. Obviously stealing a candy bar has very different connotations than killing millions of people.
Mathhew 11:23-24 “And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
Sodom was infamous for sins like arrogance, gluttony, indifference, to the poor, and sexual sin. Capernaum had just rejected Christ and His message to the people living there and He clearly states that those who reject him will have a tougher penalty than those in Sodom.
