What does the Bible say about sex before marriage?

The Bible is clearly against sexual immorality (Galatians 5:19-21). 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 tells us to flee from sexual immorality, as it is a sin against our own bodies. Throughout the framework of Biblical history, there is a beautiful picture painted about sex in marriage and that sex was designed for marriage. Mark 10:6-9 and Genesis 2:24-25 describe man and woman becoming one flesh in the act of sex and marriage, that they are devoted to each other and actually become one in sex. While the Bible is clearly for sex in marriage, there is redemption for those that have had sex before marriage. God’s grace is sufficient for any sin and He desires to redeem us and make us whole again.
