Is it a sin to drink alcohol?

Psalms 104:14-15 states, “He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.” This scripture mentions the wonderful blessings God has given man to enjoy, including meat, bread, and finally wine, which does not seem to have a negative correlation.
John 2 describes Jesus turning water into wine at a wedding, and Jesus would not provide wine if it is a sin to drink alcohol. The key to this question is how one uses alcohol. Like sex, it is a gift from God that He wants us to use in a glorifying way. Drinking alcohol does not seem to be a sin according to the Bible, but drunkenness is, according to Ephesians 5:18.
