How do you explain the Trinity?/Is Jesus God?
The doctrine of the Trinity can be broken down into three key truths: (1) There is only one God, (2) The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons, (3) each Person is fully God. These three Persons are not three separate parts of God but are each fully and equally God. There is one undivided being of God that unfolds into three interpersonal relationships or three Persons. The Father is not the Son, but He is God; the Son is not the Holy Spirit, but He is God; the Holy Spirit is not the Father, but He is God. Each person is separate from another in being, but each is fully and completely the one, Triune God of the universe.
