How can I know God's will For my life?

We are given clear instructions within the Bible for what God’s will is for our lives. 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5 answer this clearly, the NIV even using the words “God’s will.” 1 Thessalonians 4 provides an entire list saying that “it is God’s will that you should be sanctified” and what that looks like. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 tells us to “rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” The 10 commandments provide a covenant that God wants to keep with His people – the two most important commandments being to love God and love others. Therefore, through reading the Bible, we can know what God’s will is for our lives.
